M.A. in biology program allows you to broaden and deepen your knowledge base, engage in independent research and data analysis, and develop advanced scientific writing and oral communication skills.

M.A. in mathematical studies provides a solid foundation in some of the major areas of mathematics, an appreciation for the structures and theories of advanced mathematics and a deeper understanding of the role of mathematics in the world. This program will help you develop quantitative and abstract reasoning and the ability to use mathematics as a computational and analytical tool. Our department strives to produce graduates who exhibit knowledge, 理解 and creativity in the practice of mathematics as they pursue a variety of career opportunities.

In the mathematical sciences graduate program, each student has an individualized plan of study based on their goals and interests. This program provides for the advanced study of the biological sciences and their application in the laboratory.

Our program educates students about the major content areas and science of psychology. They attain an understanding of psychological theory, 原则, scientific methods and data analysis. M.A. in 心理学 is the only terminal master's degree in Rhode Island to offer graduate education in the general science of psychology. The faculty at RIC have expertise in a variety of areas and work closely with students in the classroom and in research. Full-time faculty members teach the courses, and the low student-faculty ratio offers a personalized experience.
